Course Overview
Our private PAT testing course for care homes is expertly delivered by our trainer on your premises (or a premises of your choice). This course is designed to teach care home staff to PAT test, so your organisation can bring PAT testing in-house. This means that residents' personal appliances, as well as the care home appliances, can be quickly and safely tested by your maintenance team without external delay or costs. No prior experience is required to take this course.
Pricing Overview
Our course pricing is based on location, with two zones reflecting travel distance for our trainer. Zone A covers most of mainland UK, while Zone B includes Cornwall, Scotland, and Wales.
Zone A (Mainland UK excluding locations in Zone B): £1,400 + VAT
Zone B (Cornwall, Scotland, Wales): £1,550 + VAT
Additional Same Day Sessions (if required): £400 + VAT for Zone A, £550 + VAT for Zone B
Number of Delegates
Our private courses are designed for up to 12 delegates. For larger groups, we can arrange an additional session on the same day at a reduced cost.

Course Details
Our courses include forms and documentation for planning and implementing a PAT scheme in a care home environment. These forms as well as the course content can be downloaded following the completion of the course.
The training features an extensive hands-on practical session with guidance from the Trainer, as well as a dedicated Q&A session to address any concerns.
All delegates will undertake a multiple-choice test and will receive a Certificate of Competence upon satisfactory completion of the PAT Testing course.
This face-to-face PAT Testing Course is specifically tailored for care home staff, ensuring they can safely and competently conduct PAT Testing in-house, helping to maintain a safe environment for residents, staff and visitiors.
